Medium Distance Superhawk Trip Impressions

I had today off so I decided to do a little jaunt from Salt Lake City to Evanston, Wyoming. About 110 miles one way. I took I-80. Right out of SLC going up Parleys Canyon was fun as hell. FAST sweeping curves. At 100mph (indicated) the SH was stable as hell, it felt like it was on a rail. It could be done faster but I think I'll give it a few more weeks for the road to get cleaned up from the road crews sanding & salting it on those snowy winter days. That stretch of the road is also a steep uphill. I never needed anything but 6th gear thanks to that v-twin torque. From Park City to Evanston it gets pretty straight with a few sweepers so I just decided to sit back and enjoy the scenery. There's plenty to see. A stable bike at speed and a capable sport tourer. I've said this in a previous post but, I can't believe Honda stopped producing it.

Everybody be Safe, Over & Out

I'm with you. After doing all the mods to make it better than a Ducati I still saved $10K. I still think it's the best. I get to prove it on the street sometimes but all the loose talkers around here have crashed so crow is hard to find. Hahaha!

Most of my friends had never heard of the bike and are quite shocked when they don't just walk away from me in the twisties. Mine only has an upgrade to the front springs. I've definitely turned into a superhawk racist

Ain't it great not to be a slave of fashion and still be able to match the pace?
For joe average it still comes down to how you ride not what you ride.
