haha, now that's a therapy regimen I can strongly endorse. Keep up the good work!

Lucky in not getting the bone through the skin, my wife wasn't so lucky..

Have you tried arnica and ice packs for the swelling, we use a very small pack of frozen peas that been in and out of the freezer a hundred times. Hope we dont eat those one day by mistake!

lookin good big guy. Needs some LED flush mounts though IMHO.

A helluva way to extend your honeymoon and get out of work too. You are very clever indeed> haha........Start pounding vit D3 (with K2) for quick healing.

glad you're making progress. Consider a stool with wheels in the garage. that way you can just drag around the bum leg.

If you're bored though, I suggest you go wake up your wife and see if she wants to talk. :-D

no theres no bone in the wiener, had to clear that up with my wife, shes an x ray tech. i knew it all along, the term boner is wrong. lol.

i dont really half *** anything. figure if i break it i might as well do it right and make it sound like a 2x4 being smashed against a post.

as for skills, my video game skills have improved. we just bought a house so ive been slowly starting to pack things, spent some time cleaning my guns, gotta pack up the garage soon, put a battery into my quad the other day, changed the plug, etc. hoping i can walk in the next two weeks. its been just over a month since the surgery and i still cant walk but i can keep about 40% weight on it and stand up without crutches, stand to shower, etc. leg is still a little swollen in the knee and ankle. the incisions where they put the screws in have started to heal, the knee is still mostly scabby so thatll take a while to heal. we move at the end of the month so i have a feeling ill probably he using a cane around then to help me walk so ill have to rely on friends to help us move.

other than that im slowly running out of things to do and might start loosing my mind soon. oh and ive been drinking lots, helps pass time, lol

oh man you have no idea, even slower than that, cooking breakfast is hard while on crutches, basic things like cereal isnt bad, but using the frying pan and getting things from the fridge to the stove gets hard. showering is interesting too, i stand up to shower now which is great but im just waiting for my knee to act up a little and have me fall and break the other leg, lol. hardest thing is waking up middle of the night for a leak, groggy, forgetting i need crutches, or trying to use them while drowsy. hell not using crutches in that situation is hard enough, having to balance yourself on crutches is hard to do.

just an update for anyone following along, were coming on to 8 months, only a couple weeks or so away from it. leg isnt bad, took me about 9 weeks to walk, at the 4 month mark the bone was only half healed. i started lightly jogging about a month and a half ago and im running 2km now, slowly working on the leg and my conditioning as i managed to lose it all with my little vacation. our ontario weather has been shorts and flip flops one day, jacket and hats the next, so its playing games on my leg, but im back to slowly grappling again as well and working once again, little by little, but what a terrible healing process this has been. and now im just hoping its 100% healed for my deals gap trip at the end of august

gonna be lots of pics and vids of the dragon no worries there
doctor wasnt too specific about things which was surprising, didnt even tell me to do any physio which i ended up doing on my own along with some acupuncture and such, might have helped me out, hard to say. although a guy my wife works with broke his leg i think 4 months before me and when i started jogging he still wasnt able to and hes 4 months ahead of me. then again at the 2 month xray i was seeing some light fusing and his hadnt started yet.

just did a trs dual bixenon setup on the gixxer, ripped out the 11 year old projectors that were in there and stuck some new ones in last night, so tonight i may start the reassembly process
