Leaking Gas

There are three hoses on the lower left side of the bike and I have gas leaking from one. The bike is parked in the sun and I did fuel up this morning on my way into work. If I understand correctly one of those hoses is a fuel tank overflow, however I don’t feel I over filled it.

I did move the bike into the shade and I also opened the gas cap to release any pressure and it seems to have stopped.

Any thoughts?

well, how full did you get it...even if you don't think it's 'too' full, it could be on a real warm day. shade definitely helps after a fill up

The overflow hole is on the left side of the filler opening, parking it on the sidestand after a fillup, and placing it in the sun (fuel expands under heating) equals flow out of the overflow tube.

Yup, that must have been it. I haven’t noticed any leaks since moving it to the shade and the tank is cool to the touch.

I guess I need to be more cautious when parking in the sun after fueling up.

Thanks for all the help!
