Inspection???????

i got two questions and hopefully someone can answer them....

has anyone had problems passing inspection (emissions) after putting an aftermarket jet kit, air filter or ignition advancer?....i'm from Massachusetts by the way

and i have a 98 SH that i'm puttin a BMC airfilter(standard), +4 ignition advancer, factory pro jet kit (config. 10)and i'm doing a bafflectomy...does anyone have a similar setup and can tell me some base options for tuning the jets/carb?

Does your state DMV require emissions checks for motorcycles? In California, they don't.

You shouldn't have any problem, no emissions in MA. BUT, if the person doing the inspection wants to be a dick, he may give you a hard time about the exhaust. I went to a local shop (not a dealer) and the guy wouldn't do it because I had integrated blinkers in the rear. I pulled out, drove less than 100 yards to a small Harley shop, and had absolutely no problem. BTW I also have a jet kit and Devil high mounts. You shouldnt have a problem with a privately owned place.
