How much did you pay for your SuperHawk?

Bought in January 2011- 1999 with 3100 miles for $2700, I'm pretty sure it's never seen a raindrop. Being as I'm getting too old to use the clip-ons, I've drilled out the top triple and put some Renthal superbike bars on it using the Genmar risers, trimmed the fairing to fit, and upgraded the brake lines to stainless. The only wiring that needed extending was the horn. I also got a set of Dr. Honda velocity stacks. Great bike!!

I purchased a 2003 last July that was on Craigslist. Broken fairing, front lights, pegs (former owner had tried a stoppie and failed). It also needed a petcock, rr & a battery which is why the former purchaser never had it running.
It had sat in storage since 2004 with 1680 miles, I paid $1,000 which included an Icon jacket.
A really great deal until I went to the tag agency and paid an additional $800 for back tags and two title updates.

04 - 9k miles
I was fortunate enough to be gifted a superhawk this week! My first bike.
It came with upgraded pipes and suspension. Also he gave me gloves and helmet as well.
Bike runs great and sounds great, and anything wrong with it is strictly cosmetic. ( dented tank, scratched plastics etc)
I'm just waiting on my riders course to license up!
What a deal!

My red 98 I traded a Glock, AR15 and along with 500 cash. The black 98 I paid 1100 for it. As for mods I think I paid more for them then the bikes.

I traded a tool box for my 01 Hawk.
All stock cept for two Bro's slip ons, jet kit and solo tail. MINT with 12K miles
I was asking $3500 for the box but would have taken 3K all day.
I have owned about 15+ bikes and never seem to keep one for more than a year.
But I'm going into my 3rd riding season with this bike and the thought of listing it for sale hasnt even crossed my mind.
think I'm keepin this one, so I guess its time to start modding it!!!

I bought my '98 Firestorm (euro version) last year for 4500 with 32000 km!!! Which granted is a lot more than most here have paid and more so considering the kms; but here in Switzerland they'll charge you a franc to breathe free air! I actually bought the cheapest bike (SH/FS) I could find; others were going for up to 6500 for a '99!!!
Came with great sounding ILLEGALY LOUD hand made high rise pipes (taken off to avoid the fine), original pipes, double bubble tinted shield, and a hand shake. Two and three quarter sets of rubber I'm up to 50000 Kms already... I like to ride.

Late November 2009 I paid $2935 for my 1999. It had 4995 miles on it. I've since had the suspension beefed up with Race Tech springs, had it jetted and added almost 7000 more miles. Of all the bikes I've owned (7 over the years) the Super Hawk is far and away my favorite!

i know a it was a little high but i paid 2800 for my 1998 hawk(not to many around where i live that people want to get rid of). it had 58k miles on it, two brother pipes, flush turns, brand new paint job front to back /top to bottom, jetted and high flow air filter. other than that it was stock ish. i am currently replacing the CCT's and blanking off the PAIR's.
This bike is a true work horse and worth every penny!!!!!

I just bought one 2 weeks ago for $2000. 1998 stock with Yosh slip ons and 25k miles. I love this bike. I had a an RC51 2 years ago and replaced if with a 98 VFR. The VFR was good but it doesn't come close to the fun factor the Hawk can offer. I'll end up getting another RC SP2 soon enough.

1999 Superhawk
Bought a 1999 Superhawk black in Atlanta yesterday, 34,000 miles with two new Michelins not mounted for 2,700. It had been sitting outside so when I got home I started cleaning. It shined up really nice with the polished wheels and Viper exhaust and I went for my first ride. This bike reminds me of the sound of a 427 Corvette with full length outsider headers. I had a XR 1200 and Triumph Sprint 955i before this but Superhawk makes all the right sounds. This might satisfy my desire for always wanting a Ducati.
