How much did you pay for your SuperHawk?
I know this is somewhat of a taboo subject.
I was just curious as to the price of buying a Hawk over the years vs today.
No slamming or flaming, just info.
Mine... 2002 completly stock, 9k miles bought in 2009 $3800

I'm a new guy so I don't know whats taboo or not yet.
I paid 3200 for an 00 with 12800 miles. Came with Two Brothers Racing slip ons. The seller included a riding jacket, the stock cans, a service manuel, and a beat to hell Shoei helmet (i already had a my own helmet). I think I got a good deal considering the low miles.

I picked mine up for $2300, 98 with 25,xxx miles on it. Had yoshi pipes and fender eliminator, ss brake lines. The seller through in some extras for me too which was 2 helmets. Helmets are uncomfortable as crap compared to my scorpion though. They shall soon be on craigslist, lol

Bought my 2000 with 16,000 miles off eBay about this time last year for $2300. Had Two Brothers slip-ons and was repainted flat black. Put a battery in, stuck it in my sisters garage and haven't done squat other than titling it. Do I regret buying it? Yes I do.

Purchased in 2005 for $1900.00 cash
Born on June 1997 (making it a 98 model)
1200 miles on the ODO, bone stock, second owner.
Perfect condition, not a scratch (till 13 years later I knock the tank off the stand and scratch the right side ) or nick, never been dropped or repaired. Needed new tires (OEM ones were a bit ...umm, old) and an oil change.

well, I got my '02 about a yr. ago red with 11,xxx miles bone stock, 'cept flush mount front signals, and new r/r, new tires, HJC helmet, and tourmaster jacket, paid $300, added a battery and sea foam since it sat for about 6 months to a yr. then proceeded to put another 1k miles on it, very happy with my investment

Bought my 1998 Last spring for $3400 with 16k miles. Mint condition from the original owner. Had the moriwaki pistons/cams/exhaust, braided front brake lines, K&N, Jetted. Also got all the original parts minus the mufflers, and a nice tank bag and soft side bags.

$2500.00, 98, 31,xxx miles. Full Jardine exhaust, jetted, special edition gold rims (what I was told), tank bra, seat cowl, intergrated turn signals rear, flush mount front, new 540 chain, H4 headlight bulb (highly recommended), rebuilt front forks, new rectifier, battery tender lead, tinted windscreen, k&n airfilter... $2500.00 made sense to me.

$3,100- for a '98. I paid far too much, even if it were in good condition I would have been on the high end of the scale. Infatuation and ignorance got the best of me... Although as far as these things go, not that big of a deal . Loved every second of owning it though.

2005 with 13,800 miles for $3000. Completely stock, one owner, minor scratches. Didn't realize these sold so cheap, so I just paid what he was asking. I thought it was a good deal, so no reason to lowball.

I paid $1500 for a 98 with 1400 miles on it that had sat in a garage for 9 years. Sadly, sitting that long created big issues. Carbs were the least of them. CCT failed after 30 miles! It's got new pistons, valves, head work, exhaust, jetting etc. etc. I'm in it for about 3.5k and it's better than new. 7k on it now and it screams.

I purchased a 2003 last July that was on Craigslist. Broken fairing, front lights, pegs (former owner had tried a stoppie and failed). It also needed a petcock, rr & a battery which is why the former purchaser never had it running.
It had sat in storage since 2004 with 1680 miles, I paid $1,000 which included an Icon jacket.
A really great deal until I went to the tag agency and paid an additional $800 for back tags and two title updates.
