Yeh. Mine does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, and tops out around 225 due to the 15/43 sprockets, and thats with a speedo-healer Mofuggers.

My top speed somehow keeps going up everyday. I attribute it to the new sticker I put on either myself or the bike before I ride. I hit 274 Im pretty sure 280 will be broken as soon as my 4x8 loud pipes save lives sticker goes on in the morning.

Black ones have been known to hit 250. All I do is wax the bike, and that makes her good for another 5 plus mph....

anywhere near 300 mph I don't consider it prudent to glance at the speedo, but I'm positive my 0-60 is actually faster than time now that I've learned to get the power down effectively. I give all credit to the machine, I'm not a professional or even very experienced. I'm sure many on this forum are much faster, particularly if they ride one of the faster colors.

I love the part where it says the tank has dents, but it's never been down... nice trick!

L8RGAYZ- I know you're old and all, but you haven't seen the latest fad? Smashing the tank down so you can sit on it and do wheelies. Plus the weight reduction alone because of the smaller fuel capacity increases handling and speed. If the dent is on the side then its because it was his first time with a hammer and he missed the top of the tank. The fairings are scratched cause he bumped up against a concrete pillar in a parking garage. (I really did get that one)

Last weekend I was going so fast my face shield blew off and I couldn't read the speedo, but I'm sure it wrapped around twice which would be 360mph.

I've done 260 and wasn't finished yet.
I believe she'll get to 270.
I'll have to try soon.

Funny ****. Any bone stock VTR will go 0-60 in 3.5 sec. A VTR tuned up to 112-115 rwhp with a skilled (and skinny) guy in the seat will go 10.46 through the quarter.

235 mph? That would require well over 200 rwhp. Probably 250.

That kind of HP would require some serious mods to the bike. Besides he was prob. looking at KPH not MPH...

Careful there! When Doc Brown adjusted his flux capacitor, his Delorean would only reach 88 miles per hour.

Since I went naked and lost the weight of the plastics, I can go 250 all day. This weekend I'm going to take off the kickstand, and I think I'll get an easy 260.
