Gorgeous blue 2003 VTR
Ran into a fellow Vancouver Island Hawker (Stormer here). Thought some of you might be interested to see his bike.
its got a Euro gas tank, super bike bars, a Pyramid lower which I'm a fan of, Sargent seat and other worthy mods.
He says it gets 260km per tank. I get 160km on mine

Nice looking bike.
I'm assuming there is another bike parked where it can't be seen in the pic. Otherwise, it looks like the blue bike has TWO right hand mirrors.
Braided stainless front brake lines - smart upgrade.
Black front calipers. Mine are gold. I'm assuming it's the same caliper assemblies, only a different color.
Rear blinkers - are those stock or aftermarket?
The lower faring looks nice, but I prefer nothing downstairs. I really like the exposed engine of the 996.
Frame sliders look good.
Cool bike!

The 2nd RH mirror is my bike in the background. I was doing a plug chop test when he stopped by to see if I needed assistance. I'll ask him to post better pics, hopefully w/o all the gear on. The superbike bars are a thing of beauty.

Those are pretty common sliders. Just do a search on this site. Moko SW, etc
Canadian bikes "Firestorm's" DO NOT come with 19 litre gas tanks since 2002. Just check honda.ca under specs.
You have to go to Honda Europe to find them. Be nice to have a UK connection to find one parting out.
