I saw previous post of yours mentioning Mosport. The back straight there should be long enough to see what the GXR is made of. You should see 280 kph. Don't forget to break for turn 8.
This should easily get you down in the 135 seconds range. Good luck with the new ride.

Well all I can say is get the suspension dialed for your weight & riding style and then don't ever forget what you are on..... or it could hurt realllly bad.
Not any type of put down just a concerned bit of advice.... or warning.
Have fun with it and remember that GSRX stand for Get Some X Rays.....

thanks, and yeah it takes some getting used to for sure. i banged it into first at the top of second first time on the bike. put the slipper clutch to work. it works. lol. i was under the impression it was returned to regular shift before i rode it, so i started it in second and then went for first with an up click. wtf came to mind, and where are the other 5 gears. lol

I hate to ruin this for you, but I just rocked out a 1974 Honda XL250. It was awesome. I am also looking forward to my future vintage bike, cb350four. I would rather have both of these then one gsxr, even two.

this is a great bike, yeah the gixxers are common and a dime a dozen, which means theyre cheaper to fix and easier to find parts for which is always a bonus.

bringing this up from the dead, nath i got lucky on this purchase for sure. the bike is great, has been great to me and is just a joy to get out and blast around on. now that the suspension is set up for me its un like any factory bike ive ever ridden. and she pulls like stink no complaints there
turbo is still sitting in a box in my garage im still on the fence about it. ill need to go with a pcv with autotune if i do that and thats 500 bucks im not sure i want to part with just yet. it would be a low 4-5 psi set up, maybe 180-190 at the back wheel which would make this thing a missile, still on the fence about that, didnt do much work over the winter due to my leg being broken, see what time brings

the triples are nice, a buddy has a 675 daytona and theyre a nice sounding bike, power is decent too. i wouldnt mind a street triple as a second bike just to ride to work and mess around on

glad to hear you're getting out and about uch, and yea, i know that beast runs and handles myriads better than the old hawk. Just the lighter weight and ohlins is magic enough, then add all those horses and now we're really having fun. enjoy boy! Like they say, "break a leg" ha.
