I received the below in an email from Garmin. Whereas my Nuvi 765T is not a new model, its not that old and I've had it for less than a year. BTW, while Garmin states the Nuvi 765T and similar models are not weather resistant like their Zumo models, kept out of a driving rain or under plastic, the Nuvi does just fine.

they didn't say a "working unit" so I guess if you had a broken one it would be good deal

 

Wonder if this has anything to do with their recall of some of these units due to battery problems, I have a nuvi 205w that they just replaced the battery in under the recall.... you can check about the recall on garmin's website based on serial number.

 

Sad part is that they will probably generate some business from it. As the saying goes, there's a sucker born every minute.
