Flea Bay Exhaust

I am considering aftermarket slip on exhaust upgrade. Don't want to spend $1,000 for mufflers on a $3500 bike but the DanMotos look a bit too cheesy for my taste. So considering some of the Yoshimuras on ebay and a brand I've never heard of - G.P.R.- supposedly Italian mfr. Anybody know anything about these mufflers?

I would take yosh over gpr, are they both dual slip ons? Avoid 2 into 1's.

Thanks & yes both are dual slipons, not messing with the stock header.

Crankman you still hemming and hawing about these? Post some pics at least. As anything Italian, fashion comes over function.

Seems like someone on here is always selling some.

Thanks for the input Joe. I'd like to get a couple more opinions. I can post a pic, but there are many models and they are easy to see on ebay if you search: VTR1000f exhaust gpr.

I was specifically hoping someone who's actually had experience with these might respond, hence the

If you're trying to save money, why not do the bafflectomy? I did it on one of my hawks and i think it sounds great.

The GPR's are nice enough... They are a lot more common over here than in your neck of the woods... About the same sound as Jardine's, a bit more angry but not much... Fit and finish is above average, but not world class...

Thanks guys. Very helpful. I would do the bafflectomy but want to have the option to return to stock if necessary. It did cross my mind to use mufflers intended for another twin. At least I know the GPRs are decent. The fact they're uncommon here makes them more appealing. I like being different if my avatar is no clue.
