Finally did a real ride
Today before class, I headed out a bit earlier and hit a short nice twisty on my way to class. It felt great to get back into the lean of things so to speak. This bike is great very solid going into the turns and plently of power coming out, not to mention how light and flickable through the turns it was. I can't wait for summer to get here although I do feel a sick day coming on friday *cough* *cough*

I rode in subzero weather before and didn't enjoy it to be honest with you, not when you won't be able to feel your fingers or have the tires sliding all over. Plus my bike is in pieces right now getting the frame polished and the forks resprung. Have you seen the salt piles on Michigan roads, maybe not as much around your are Yamarocket but over here in GR, they have em all over the streets. No thanks, i would wait a couple more weeks.

Youguys are hilarious. Yes I am polishing the BIKE frame myself and no I get my Rocket polished by my GF on a regular basis. I like Mothers billet polish and she like KY Jelly. They are both expensive. LOLOLO

2 observations I made while riding in the 37 degree temps tonite...
1. I think the superhawk has more torque that my truck, and it is sneaky fast. Everytime I would look down at the speedo it was "oh S***! I should slow down."
2. Snowmobile suits are really warm.
