No pain.. to numb to feel ANYTHING. The thing that sucks is that I'm in the trucking business and if winter gets too much I just grab a load to Phoenix or Miami, but I haven't been south of I-80 in two months.... Arghhhh

Damn I feel your pain I didn't ride in to work today because it was supposed to rain this afternoon.
Anyways I lived up in northern new england untill I was 21. I still miss it, then I think about what I would be doing and I am over it.
Good luck spring is right around the corner.

Yeah... you guys got no snow.Temps warmed up today, but I'm heading to Philadelphia.I'm just a little frustrated with winter. The free time I've had to work in the garage has been a hassle 'cause its been so bloody cold the past month.

I'm back in my parents' native Texas and those kind of long winters are a thing of the past for me. It's snowed here and it's iced here - the town shuts down and waits for it to be over. In a day or two it is.

Coming to work this am I passed 2 riders, one was on a Fazer and the other on a little bike like an R6. It was 29 degrees and they were still grinning ear-to-ear! I was jealous

So.Cal. used to be the best place on the planet. Thanks to the third world invasion and third world politics, it has largely turned to ****. I'm glad you guys envy us our mountain roads and weather. It's all we've got left.

Understand your pain brother. Just bought my Superhawk last sat. first bike i've owned since 1979. I do not have an license yet and am in need of a fix. drove it a few miles in Missouri where i bought it, wow my 1978 Kawasaki kz 750 twin did not go like this mad chicken. Live in Nebraska and have been in the coteau hills before, beautiful country, think i will come up and fly through Sica Hollow this summer. Relax you will be riding soon.

Not to make yall feel too terribly bad, but its 65 degrees here in San Antonio @ 9:50pm and will be around 80 degrees for a high tomorrow. I have rode my bike every day this week for about 120 miles each day. But on the bright side, at least yall get snow.

Rode to work this morning after partying all night (took a nap before I started) and it was 19 degrees. Coldest I've ever ridden. But today it got up to the mid 60's and tomorrow will be the same. It was worth it to be first out in the morning to enjoy a full day of warmth. There's still snow in spots though. Sucks you can't even work on your bike in comfort. Spring will be here shortly.

I was born in Los Angeles in 1946. The change that has taken place is almost beyond description.

Our forum administrator is in Upstate NY and he's been grumpy for a long time. With the kind of winter you have been having - I'd be grumpy too! I know, I spent 30 winters in Minnesnodalot and bailed. 1984 set the record for all-time record snowfall. By March I was executing my exit strategy. I go back to visit but not much. They mostly come here to get out of it.
