is this a dual exhaust setup?

To my knowledge Yosh never offered a single exhaust set up for the VTR like the Suzuki SV1000 right side exit pipe. Also the Yosh slip-ons don't use springs on the VTR mid pipes- they're one very nicely welded unit with the muffler bodies.

I have the stainless version. Came with 2 cans.needed clamps and hangers. Not too loud but they make beautiful music. Good quaulity product. I did not rejet and only notice the noted slight 3k to 35k stumble. One of these days I will go in and try the needle shim on the carbs. It only shows up when reving slowly thru in neutral. I don,t feel it at all when in gear. It is not a big issue. If you want new cans go for it.

I think you'll be getting two pipes. I Wonder if they're so inexpensive because they may be a composite material, like aluminized steel instead of chrome finish or Stainless. Please let us know, I'm curious....

It's a dual exhaust setup. Yoshi's can be found cheap...like this...and are they best for the money on the SH. Same price as the D&D's. D&D's or Yoshi's? Ummmmmm....Yoshi's

D&D's do sound great at idle, but they are waaaay to loud at highways speeds, especially for extended periods of time. Almost as annoying a straight pipes on a Harley. No offense to anyone.

...and btw...I've purchased items from More Power Racing before and was very pleased with their fast shipping and product. They'd get my business again. Can't remember what I bought from them...I just remember I was very pleased

Well they were 664 shipped, so the price was nice! They are kind of quiet right now but I sure as they break in by the packing burning up they will be louder and the bike feels more responsive which is always good.
I will try and get some video and sound up when I find my memory card for my camera. I got on them last night my buddy and I saw flame shoot out the back which was pretty cool but is that a good thing?

I have the same pipes on my bike right now. They are def on the quiet side, especially compared to the 2 Bros CF muffs that were on before. Engine runs good on both. Your Yoshis should get a little louder later, but not by much.

If I remember correctly Yosh stopped offering the straight through, comp baffle on the Superhawk application due to lack of demand(?). They claimed customers wanted the Zyclone (quiet) baffles rather than the louder, freer flowing comp or race baffles. I always thought the explanation was strange. I do know that when "Motorcycle Parts" (a Missouri based distributor) closed out their Yosh RS-3's in titanium I ordered a set, after confirming that the baffles were indeed the straight through comp version. When delivered they were indeed the quiet Zyclone versions. Some mild bitching resulted in a pair of comp baffles, new packing, and stainless rivets being delivered for retro fit. So if your mufflers don't thunder, you too may have Zyclone baffles.
