I took the shawk down Kennedale drag strip two weeks ago...wow. It was my first time ever down a strip and dang-it was totally awesome! It is hard to get a good launch with the hydro clutch. 8.04 sec at 95mph (1/8th mile). I raced a '03 Mille with after market pipes (7.47 and 99 mph). Mine had 15/43 520 conversion (now 16/43 520) and stock everything else. It was way too much fun. Drag strips have sooo much grip, I thought I was going to loop it!
