Contimotion tires

I just ordered a set of these for my newly aquired 1998 Firestorm. Just wondering if anyone has any input on these tires. They seem like a great bargan at $190 for the set. Keep in mind that is Canadian dollars and thats shipped to my door.

not sure, but i know a few ppl that run the conti race tires. the US distributor (if im correct) is the same guy who used to run my home club (track days). really cool guy. (though, he may be only involved with the race tires, not street)

from what ive heard, conti hired an ex pirelli guy to lead design for this current generation of rubber?

so far so good. some of the ppl who are running these tires are going WAY faster than i ever could.

Well the company I bought the tires off emailed me back today and informed me they had made a mistake and that the Continentals were out of stock. So they are now sending me a set of Pirelli Diablo Stradas at the same price. Sounds like a deal to me

everyone you ask is gonna give you a different opinion on tires. It all boils down to what you wanna do on your bike. I ride mainly around town with a ride through the twisties/mountains every couple of weeks. I run Shinko 005 front and back and I like them a lot. Never heard anything bad about anything Pirelli makes, and same with Michelin's.
