carbon Cup holder

Do you know where I can get a Carbon Fiber Cup Holder that will fit on the Triple tree?

no shyte? You really gonna put a cupholder on your bike? Next you'll be putting a radio, some subs, and a couple monitors for your PS3....

J/K.... seriously though.. a cupholder? or is that slang for something else?

I also am amazed/confused. Maybe that was the point...

Wouldn't it fall out when you turned?

Sounds like a Lay-Z-Boy on wheels

Oh wait, we already have that.
I think it's called a Goldwing... or something like that.

I'll begin by saying that that was my first thought. But since seeing it in words.. using that logic, wouldn't the bike fall over when you turned it?

As for cupholders.. I've, in the past, bought a meal from Taco Bell (been there only twice this year, proud of me?) and used my tank bag (it's tall) to hold the drink up while I rode home. It worked out, but it meant no quick accelerating. But bottles would be smarter on a bike, in which case a tank bag would do the trick anyway, and not require a cup holder.

I won't flame the idea, but I definitely have mixed feelings about a cupholder on anything other than maybe a Goldwing.

Hey now, a Goldwing is my other bike and yes, it's quicker than most people would suspect from looking at it. It's been down the gap several times, scraping happily.
For the record, I don't have cupholders on my Goldwing. Thought about it, but between the microwave and espresso machine, there's just no room left.

I carried my morning coffee in my tank bag on my Hawk GT with only one spill in a year.

I have often wished I had one for the morning coffe on the way to work. Other than that I can't see the use. If I'm going on a super long ride I have a camelback so I can drink with out stopping.

I came across this problem while riding my bike to work, still in need to fulfill my coffee addiction. I was putting the cup on the tank cap the time to clutch and would pick it with clutch hand, shifting w/o clutch. The deceleration part was the most problematic since the cap is leaning toward the front. I used a cord with a few knots hung to both mirrors with a loop in the middle that seated close to the top of the paper cup so it's higher than it's gravity center, one size wonder tough. For groceries I was hanging plastic bags on both mirrors for a killer machine look Cases of beer, clutch hand still, gas tank on decel/clutch. Cops like this...

Why does it need to be carbon fiber?
