Buell Track Days $150 Hosted by PTT

Hey i signed up for a Buell sponsered Track Day at Barber (Sorry all sold out for Barber) for only $150.

They are at numerous tracks all over the US and you can bring your bike and demo ride a Buell as well. I have been interested in the sport Buells for some time and look forward to trying one on a track, even if it is a paced ride. The rest of the track day is open to three classes Novice, Intermidiate, Advance. All is hosted by Private Track Time orginization.

Check it out, slots are going fast, so if you are interested you better jump on it quickly.

Do you know which Buell you'll be riding. I'm assuming it's the Firebolt. I checked on the one at VIR but since it's on a Wednesday I'm not sure if I could make that one.

That is a shame, the Barber event is on a Saturday. I am stoked about riding on that track.

I just used my new No-Mar Dismount/mount Tire tool on my Harbor Freight Tire changer last night and i must say after years of changing dirtbike tires and occasional street tires with regular Tire Irons that the No-Mar tool was a well worth it investment.

I broke the tire bead, dismounted tire, and mounted my track day 208gpA tier in about 12 minutes with air already back in the tire.

Two thumbs up for the No-Mar tool and Harbor Freight Motorcycle Tire changer.

Yep. Me and the SuperChicken will be there; however she will be wearing her old clothes and won't be looking her best. I picked up some old scrathed up body parts including a dented tank for Track Days so the good stuff could stay at home.

Look me up, I will be in a White V-Nose Trailer with a Grey Chevy Truck and a Yellow SV650S as well.

I hope to move up to the Intermidiate class as all that was available was Novice when i signed up.

I am pumped about riding Barber. Just finished mounting my 208GPA track day tires this evening and installing the 6 puck cailpers off of a GSXR1000. Got to get out and try the calipers with the new Vesrah Race pads.

Yippeeeeee

Hey that would be kewl Greg, i have been wanting to hook up with you since the oild RLZ days, but never seem to get to east TN / West NC at the same time. I think we tried to do a north GA trip one year to the TWO wheels only area, but i had to bail at the last minute.

Glad to see with both still got the SuperChicken fever. I had a great evening tonight turning wrenches in the garage, best therapy a man can have.

My Bad,

I thought you used to live in the NC or VA areas several years ago.

Rooster, FYI i got a call from PTT today, Barber is requiring Leather one peice or zip together Two peice gear. no textile gear allowed.

PTT is refunding money if you can not meet the Barber requirements.

I am good to go myself.

Well yeah, I lived in VA for about 12 on and off. You said NC/TN which is what got me confused.

Anyway, hopefully we'll meet at the SHOG rally this year.
