Blast from the past, lead pipes and such

I found this Email left over from the old RLZ list, enjoy!

Sounds like fun. Where can I get me some of those lead pipes? Actually, would putting HEAVIER pipes on a SH count as a handicap for an otherwise talented rider? The down side I imagine would be a lack of sparks when you ground them on a deep curve, but since lead is so soft, I imaging you could sculpt your own in any shape you wanted - that had some interesting possibilities...

Daz would probably come up with something that looked like that new Ducatti or maybe the rc211v pipes...
Fred would drop one and break his foot..
Geo would claim that his 'priller is still cooler..
Daryl would argue with Geo over that fact..
Michael would complain that AZ motorsports didn't have them in stock...
Jeff would sell them below cost, put himself out of business and then have to put up with people whining that they didn't get the good deals, they only got their $$ back..
Michael would discuss the second amendmant right to keep and arm superhawks with lead cans while furiously trying to figure out how big of a gun he would need to shoot them out of...
Rickey would be a step ahead of Michael, having already figured out what
thickness of washers to use while jetting the bike...
Greg would post an excellent website on how to cut the tips out of them to get better sound and more HP..
Bryan would own a set, make a deal to sell them, and then, with no explanation, welsh out on the deal and leave the guy hanging..
Don would have a local machinist make some "extenders" to improve the mount....
TT2 would hang hard luggage on above them and take them to a race-track...
Bug would claim that they were not compatible with Water Wetter and then flame anybody that disagreed...
Pete would post a website showing all of the vendors that were willing to offer Lead pipe discounts to RLZ listers...
Steve would buy a set, get tired of them and sell them to me...
and I would add them to my 17 exhausts in 5 weeks demo ride schedule, and post the butt-dyno results....

Let's see.. did I miss anybody? ...and y'all thought Fred was the only demented one...
