Best Place to buy parts?

What is the best place to buy parts for the Super Hawk?

My Kickstand switch finally went the way of the dodo and needs replacement.

Unfortunately that part you will probably have to go to Honda for. Hopefully someone will chime in with a better plan.

I like to use ronayers.com for their excellent parts fiche and either buy there or use the part number(s) over at servicehonda.com site (no parts fiche available) as they usually beat ronayers on prices but sometimes shipping is more.

Either are WAY cheaper than my local stealer.

Service Honda does have a parts fiche. It's kind of awkward to use, but it's there. You have to write down the part number and then price it.

http://www.servicehonda.com/test/index.htm

Start here. You have to use Internet explorer, not mozilla etc, it loads a remote desktop (I think they called it) select: motorcycles/honda/ and vtr1000 and 1998 model year (in my case) and you're there.

If you need help, get Pooh. He knows his ****!!

I like Bike Bandit. Ron Ayers seemed to have better pricing on some OEM stuff. I've never ordered from them before. Bike Bandit does give a discount if you're an AMA member, so sometimes that's better. I had a really bad experience with Service Honda and won't even deal with them anymore.
