Beaverun this weekend
Heading to the track this weekend. Actually this will be the 1st ride of the year for me on the superhawk!!
Beaverun track, just outside of Pittsburg, PA with TeamProMotion. Heading down with 6 others for a two day leap into the riding season. I should be able to grab some on-track footage with my new little digital video cam... I'll post up some pics and hopefully video when i return. If anyone will be in the neighborhood feel free to stop in and kick some tires. I'm sure their won't be more than a couple superchicken's around and I should be easy to find.

Hey guys, links to three huuuge files here, but I was able to strap on a camera to my bike for a few sessions around beaverun. One is forward facing, the other two are rear facing. Gives you a basic idea of the track and such. I was in the Blue "advanced" group and was usually in the 1:05's and had one dip into the 4's with a 1:04.9.

Also, head over to www.fred-voit.com to see a collection of pics from the event. Navigate to Bike Events 2005 and select Beaverun from 4/16,17. I am bike number 157...
Had a blast, the bike was generally great although I was dealing with some high speed wobbles from some of the bumps leading onto the front and back straights. My hyperpro damper gave me enough peace of mind to just ride through them with a very light grip on the bars, trying not to fight them. I love being the underdog at the track and swapping spots with newer, more track focused machinery!!

A couple shots from the www.fred-voit.com site. The first one is my friend Aaron, the one on the R6 in front of me in the second pic. The third shot you can see him to the right (following me, as he should be!)
