3 DFW Superhawks before a Sunday afternoon ride

OK I know you all have been waiting for this....!!!!

Here's a few pics of 3 DFW Superhawks before a little 170 mile Sunday afternoon ride...

And a few (wretch, gag, belch, fart) inline 4's [snickers]

Those I4 guys were OK tho

Too bad we missed getting gnapoleone & his VTR on this ride!
We would have outnumbered them!

Nice we had those winds yesterday only stronger, felt like tropical storm winds at times. It reminded me of my young and dumb days when I talked my bro and best friend to ride during HUGO. It was just a TS by the time it hit CT but it sure was fun. You would be leaning going straight and up right in corners. I remeber being leaned into a corner againts the wind and then it just stopped, almost flopped me on my side!

That's about the tallest windscreen I've ever seen!

Anymore pics?

Yep and boy did it come in useful too! Nice ride CNI and Cliffhanger, hopefully next time it won't be so wintery (for Texas).

Bill do you still have that shot of Cliffhanger getting passed on the twisties by that 18-wheeler?

Ha Ha Ha very funny Loco......Hey that guy used to drive for NASCAR OK....
and anyway my bike was acting funny, and tires felt a little sluggish, and it was windy, throttle kept sticking, and the sky was blue, and my left little toe nail hurt, and well it was windy....
so there, I don't see how anyone could be expected to preform under those kinds of conditions.....LOL .....

Oh yeah, and I have only been riding really for about 2 months!!! I'll stick with that one....

Yes when the world conspires against you like that, there's nothing you can do. Hey at least you didn't drop your R6 in the ditch like that other guy did. It would not have been funny if we weren't all parked talking!

DOH!! Now that's embarassing!! I thought my kickstand was down once when it wasn't, almost smashed into my brothers bike! Now thatwas a red faced moment.

Yeah, that sucked, He was tryin to spin out in a ditch with a street bike, grass got the better of him.....I kind of felt bad for him....but didn't do much damage, think it smashed his mirror---easy fix....Nice bike though....Another reason why I would not park in a ditch....

I almost got off my bike one day without putting the kickstand down....think I pulled every muscle in my body keeping it from falling...stupid....can laugh about it now....

So what were those windscreens? Is that the double bubble?

Yeah. Mine (red) is a double-bubble and it came in especially useful on Sunday, given the 35-mph gusts and our long highway trek home. I can't see through it, but it is a great way to stay warm when cutting through 50 degree weather. Keep in mind I'm from Texas, where 90 degrees is considered "moderate"
