comfy bikes. no wind protection obviously and I'd prefer my superhawk in the twisties but for all around hooligan riding it'd be tons of fun

I think you'd get more mileage out of the Z1k. But damn that thing is ugly. :P

my biggest issue with it is... if I'm gonna get a naked bike there's only 1 I'm gonna get. that's the speed triple

That is a tempting proposition there. I like the look of the Z and have heard it is a great bike, plus with this one is he replaced those ugly picklefork exhaust cans.

Erm, count me down for a Duc Monster. Even my wife (who rides a V-star) thinks the frame on those is sexy!

Edit: Oh, and as for the Z, they're great bikes. A buddy of mine in Dayton had one, and he's a BIG dude (6'2", 300#). It hauled his butt around just fine, and he didn't have any fitment issues.

monsters suck mainly cause they're ducati's. Plus they just don't have the unf that our hawks do

For the price you pay, all it is, is the engine. The chassis is still old tech, even if they throw Ohlins boingies on the bike.

It would be akin to throwing in the RC51-SP2 engine into the Superhawk, and charging a lot more for it. Sure, it's a monster of a motor. But does the bike as a whole fit together? IMO, in regards to the S4R (and S4Rs), I say no.
