16k mile tune up??

should I be taking my baby in to get a tune up soon? She's nearing 16k (if I haven't already ticked it over). Mainly for valve adjustment... I gotta take it in briefly this week to get a good carb synch before deals gap. I think it's slightly off and well since I don't have a tool and never done it before. I'll let a pro do it this time...

If you are not an average motor head, then yeah take it in, spend the money and avoid all the frustrations and the screwups. But if you do it yourself you will learn a thing or two about the bike (hopefully not the hard way).

well... I'd normally say I'd do it myself but I don't have a garage and I'd like to save myself issues this time around and just get it done and back on the road

I agree the job is not that bad if your mechanicly inclined you have remove alot of stuff including the cams for any ajustments if it needs it I seriously doubt you need and ajusment just checked mine at 23000 miles and all valves in spec seems to be the norm here. I cant imagine what a dealer would charge for this job. Just change the plugs and oil and filter let the valves go till atleast 20,000 you should be fine
