I've heard that comment a few times "Harley guys like it". Who cares? Am I supposed to think that because a Harley guy likes it, then it's gotta be a cool bike?

shortened pipes with restrictor plates to add back pressure. My original pipe design was 110hp 72 ft-lbs of torque. But it was just about open pipe design. Every month I would loose a baffle out the end of the muffler. if you put a bigger sprocket on the rear it will increase torque, But will change your over all speed. Ive gone down 1 tooth in the front and 6 up in the rear. Any other questions feel fre to ask. I know a guy up north that put over $10,000 into his engine on his superhawk and got 113hp and 125 ft-lbs. He asked what I had for internal mods, I told him Jet kit, pipes, and filter and he was upset. He was there when my bike was dynoed.
WELL I asked and the above was what he answered...hope this helps and boy its fun to be the one who digs for the dirt. hehe

Hey guys, look! I bought a brand new bike, crashed it trying to be a stunta, and realized it was cheaper to put it back togeather with cheap *** bling **** than use the real parts. Now I gots a $10k bike [$8k purchase, $2k repairs] and I hafta brag it up to sell it because I am about to get repoed..

That has to be a bad dyno reading! Those numbers dont make ANY sense.
I can get 136lbs of torque out of my shawk by richening it up, but I will toss all of the oil that is in my pan - out of the exhaust within 5 miles.
Torque likes running way rich - His horsepower should have suffered Thats why I say the dyno reading is bogus

Okay, now I see what happened. The bike was dyno'ed as a four cylinder! It only recorded half the RPM's. Kinda like when you set a tach for a V8 engine and hook it to a four banger. You get half the true RPM. The dyno measures total output (hp) and uses the rpm to calculate torque.
You have to divide the torque by two. Peak torque is 68lbs at the rear wheel. The hp should be accurate but you have to multiply the rpm by two.
