Bought my Superhawk 3 months ago.Its a very neglected 98 model with only 8k miles.Cool bike with loads of potential. Just wanted to say a big "THANKYOU" to this forum. The resources and information are very helpful!!

mine is also a neglected 98. not neglected by me, but by everyone who owned it before me. the whole frame has some oxidation, but i polished it to the point where you cant really tell unless you look close. i dont care though, i absolutely love the bike. welcome to the forum.

Hey Steve, I'm in the same boat as you. Bought my 98 in December 07 and it's been reliable transport for commuting and fun since then. But it was seriously neglected by the previous owner, with a lot of furred up alloy. So the modding is begining this weekend. Bellypan and undertray have arrived, and Delkevic (cheap) stubby silencers have already been fitted. I'll post some pics when I get the bike properly tidied up.

Steve is one hell of a guy! I posted up wtb a seat lock assembly and he sent me one (minus the cable) at no charge, not even for shipping. A big thanks to you bro'.. I have a few extra parts, maybe I might have something you need, let me know (of course no charge).
