PLEASE HELP " GEAR SHIFT LINKAGE ARM BROKE !!!!
Hello Im new to this site, I love it and I love my 98 superhawk 996 !
I need help, yesterday my gear shift linkage arm broke . My questions are does anyone know of any quick fixes for this ? I cant see paying almost $50 dollars in times like these for a small piece of metal. also I found one from a cbr f4i that im concidering, but the honda store said it will not work on my bike but they look identical someone help thanks for your time

Welding would be tough as the ball joint on the end would be blasted with too much heat. Honda was pretty standard on shifter spline ends and ball joints in my experience the shifter arm varies in design quite a bit though. I had a cbr600rr shift linkage fit on my 72 cb, and that is quite a time gap.
