Ok, I have a old lifted toyota pick up for toying around and got bored with it.
I ve been looking all day at old VW bugs. I want to make a Baja Bug
out of one just to play around in. I also race dirt bikes in the woods.
Its my winter hobby. What do yall do when not riding motorcycle??

I like hotrodding my diesel truck and competing with it. Took high hp at a local dyno event last year at 806hp. But I cracked a piston in the process. So far I've run a bet of 12.6@105 in a 4X4 Extended cab '96 F-250 with a 4" lift. Not super fast but fast for what it is. Should be able to do a low 12 to high 11 on a good run. The 12.6 run I had lifted my foot out of it completely because I thought I had turned the nitrous off and it surprised me when it hit. LOL!

I have a '94 jeep wrangler and a 2000 F150 7700 Extended Cab 4x4. Both equipted with Destination Mud Grips. Like to go 4 wheeling, camping and fishing around the island. Used to own a gun shop and did a lot of shooting both handgun and long gun. Use the Jeep mostly and cruise just about where ever I want to go.
But riding the S/H is the best "High" for me. Love my S/h.

I race a FZR400/600 in WERA. Doing the entire Mid-Atlantic series this year trying to win the championship.
Outside of motorsports, Last year I started learning to carve wood in a style called chip carving. Culminating in this jewelry box I made for my girlfriend.
With a woodburned picture.
This is the pic I used that we took at Rock State Park, MD.

True that. We've spent tons of money on the thing in the past year and a half. It's pretty damn stout right now though. I've regeared both axles, put an lsd in the rear and an electronic locker in the front. Did the SYE and cv driveshaft. 3" 8 arm lift kit, and just about 2 months ago put a rubicon dana44 in the rear w/ the factory air locker. The list goes on and on and on. Major addiction.
If I remember correctly I scored an 891 on the RTI ramp.
I also have quite the HiFi set up. Harmon Kardon preamp/amp, Klipsch speakers, Onkyo cd and surround processor, Audiosource eq, Audioquest cables.
I was into home and car audio real heavy for a while. My car system is pretty elaborate too. Lots of old school stuff that is better than the stuff made today.

why not...
Well first of all I am extremely passionate about motorcycles/cars/trucks and can modify or fix almost everything on every type of vehicle. I have had a few project cars 68 malibu and a 93 camaro but my problem is I lack the funds necessary to see a project car to completion... hell I barely have enough funds for my bike...
I am also a huge fan of firearms, I have shot a decent amount and have my license to carry but again lack the funds to keep up with a firearm and ammunition costs...
I am a huge computer geek, building/fixing/hacking/programming etc...And I am a linux guy so I like trying out different distros, modifying them etc...
This is probably a third of what I own that revolves around computers
About a year and a half ago I started up a previous hobby that turned into passionate obsession and the reason why I didnt ride much last year, target compound archery. Here is some of my equipment as well as a few targets I had laying around. Those targets were at about 17 yards(length of my basement) the only reason they are so bad is because I was switching from a wrist strap trigger release to a back tension/hinge style release and I was also messing around with different weight points.
Other than that I dabble in FOREX trading, I draw(nothing too recent), and I spend time with my son...

There's the bikes. besides the SH, I have a 2005 Concours and a 2006 Nomad. other than riding them, there's the task of working on them. not really a task. I like tinkering on them. I'm stripping my Connie replacing all bearings right now.
I work in an office at a desk all day, but when not working, I like construction work. Currently in the process of renovating my house and I built a garage.
The camper at the lake and the boat occupy a lot of time. 1987 Larson which requires a lot of tinkering too!
Then there's my 9 year old grandson's baseball career. he plays on a tournament team and every other weekend they have a 4 game series.
Oh...and then there's target shooting time between my 22, 380, 9 and 40.

We own 6 motorbikes. My Bandit is my everyday bike. I do some new rider mentoring from it as well. Have a CBR600 F2 which is being modded for track, completely in bits at the moment. My girls Honda 599, she had a huge accident 3 years ago and much of my time has been used helping her get back to health. I also have a 06 KDX200 which I dont get out on enough.
And my puppies take up a chunk of time.

Your woman barking at the front door, your dog barking at the back door, who you let in first?
Here is a hint:
Well.... one will stop barking the moment you open the door!
Cheers mate

Since posting my reply, I have jumped into a few other hobbies. Lately I've been adding to my collection of knives. Benchmade mini-griptilian and Kershaw leek in the last few weeks. Chainsaws is another big one. I recently got my first pro-built saw. Sent one I had to a very reputable builder, he turned it into an absolute screamer. I heat w/ firewood so it's fun to have the right toy for the job.
