What causes 183 whp?
#33
First off, a stock VTR will not pull 3rd gear power wheelies at elevation. It wont pull 2nd gear power wheelies.
Second, it might be showing corrected numbers for sea level. In which case if it is bored and has high comp pistons might be possible.
Third, 183 whp is like a dissease. When mixed with a lack of common sense it can cause a serious rash, brain damage, memory loss, and death.

But at sealevel I could do 1&2 at will and 3'rd with some coaxing as stock, 4'th required clutch... Still can but it's actually more work now with my mods...

Are we talking about just a roll-on 2nd gear wheelie, or closing the throttle then opening up while leaning back and jerking on the handlebars? I define a "power wheelie" as the front coming up just from giving it gas (not trying to wheelie but it did it anyway basically). With that definition, mine won't power wheelie in 2nd either. The front will get very light, but it hasn't ever come up on me unless I'm trying to get it to.

You did ask the opinion of the group of S-Hawk rider, stock and extreme... Which arguement are you truly attempting to make... I mean honestly???
We -In asheville are at 3000 ft above sea level, and a 2001 with an exhaust, can be made to do a powered wheelie in third....
Check your resources....
