Do I have to watch the entire 4 minute video? It just seems like this could have been edited down to 20 seconds or so, based on what I'm anticipating.
Okay, I'll try to get through 4 minutes of straight line riding.

Wow! So that sucker was hiding in the fairing. I didn't even see it until the other guy ran back from his bike. I was looking out the windscreen at the road. It would probably have helped if I understood whatever language that was in the captions. Some words looked like Spanish.
I've heard of people discovering a rattlesnake under the front seat of their car. And I've discovered tons of black widows under cars, after they're raised on a lift.

On a side note...4 weeks ago today, April 3, a friend of mine was bitten by a rattlesnake on one of the narrow trails we use to check the surf from the bluff above Trestles. I don't use the narrow trail anymore. I walk on the lifeguard access road to check the surf now.
It was pretty heavy duty. I've seen rattlers there, and I always figured I'd just drive myself to the hospital if I got bit, 6 miles away on the freeway. He said he wouldn't have made it. This was a big sucker, bite marks 3/4 inch apart. Within minutes his whole body felt like it was in a blood pressure cuff, heart rate 150. Paramedics were there in 4 minutes (cell phones can be a good thing), having been nearby on the freeway, finishing up on a traffic accident.
When I saw and talked to him 4 days later, his leg was still bruised up to his groin from the bite near his toes.
And cobra's are supposed to have even more aggressive venom.

That's why I'm glad my walk to the surf is down a wet, mossy and slippery set of stairs that's about 40 ft tall O.O
But seriously, glad he's okay.

Glad you're friend is okay man. By the sound of it, he got pretty lucky for it having been an adult. They only release a small amount of venom. Enough to stun or slowly kill their prey. If he would have stepped on a baby, it'd be a different story because they release all of their venom because they haven't learned regulation.

He never saw it, since it was in the brush and the path is overgrown from all the rain this year. He said it felt like being stabbed in the foot with a pair of scissors.
I just saw him a few hours ago. He's not surfing yet, but he's doing some prone paddling.

Maybe they were Portuguese or Brazilian riders doing a tour, or the guy who captioned the video speaks Portuguese. Do they drive on the right in India?
