Second Bikes in your garage

As of this last week I'm down to my stealthy modded 1997 GSF1200S Suzuki Bandit w/ 6k miles and my 03 Super Hawk .

I'm on the fence on whether or not I'll sell the B12 but that Hawk will never go anywhere thats for sure . If I sold the Zuki though I kinda would like to have :

2005 ZZR 600
BMW Replika
RC51
and want Honda to build a V-5 rocket ship

I'm just a bike junky as you can see those 4 bikes are so different from each other betting I'm not the only bike junky here so post what you have or would want if money were no object ..... you might make me add to my list :P

Its a long list of the bikes I'm lusting. Especially since I went to the bike show last weekend.

Re: Second Bikes in your garage

Whats so particulary special about a '98 Busa? Did the horsepower go down in '99??

Aren't they pigs compared with the new litre sport bikes?

busas first year of production was actually 99. In 99 they were 'unlimited'. After 2000 suzuki played with ignition timing in the first 3 gears, and 6th gear. It is a cheap fix to get a 2000+ busa to removed the timing retard with a simple resitior that makes the bike think it is in 5th gear all the time(base timing).Other than that, the 99 has the 340km/h(220mph) speedo. other than that, they are all the same.

As far as I can tell from what I've ridden, the superhawk is the perfect bike for me. That being said, I don't think the 98' triumph t595 coming (in a couple weeks) can oust it.
Also, my first bike- 80' cb750f. Never letting that one go!

Dude right there with you, I also have a vintage CB750F (black / Orange) 82 model BLack engine that i bought just out of high school. She is still a peach and looks fantastic.

I regulary get asked if the bike is new by unknowing cyclist. They think it is one of the new retro bike.

Not a fast machine, and not nimble, but still ahoot to ride.

Mine is pretty modified, with Factory Honda Rear sets and a Yosh RoadRace pipe as wellas a Corbin seat. Yes i was an early Corbin customer in 84

Man, that's awesome! I modified mine a little, and I'm kinda returning it to stock (except for those super quiet mufflers that came on it). They are fun to ride. I think yours is nicer than mine though. You ever check out cb1100f.net?

Just sold the '99 Katana 600. It wasn't gettin' much use anymore...what with the 'Hawk being around & all. Still, it gave me 45,000 great miles & I learned a lot from it.

Now the lust:
Geez, that new Triumph Speed Triple looks sweet!

I could also do with a green & silver Benelli; but an MV Agusta in red & silver is acceptable, also.

The practical side would settle for a used Kawi Concours or Honda ST1100 for two up rides. Heck, I might even be able to convince the wife we NEED one of those!

'88 Shadow 600. I commute in this bike (mostly due to high mpg and I could give a **** if someone steals it). Keep wanting to sell it and get a DRZ or something, but it runs so damn well I can't bring myself to!

A 2008 Yamaha WR250R.
