Did you see in the news that we can hunt pigs in the city of Ft. Worth now?
Just kidding about the hunting part, but we did have about 60 feral hogs that escaped from a meat packer here in town. Our animal control is going to tranquilize the ones they find but of course that renders the meat unuseable. How's your hog population down there? I am taking my DPMS LR 308 and going hunting in East Texas after the 1st of the year.

I wish I could find a place to hunt them.. They are all over, but people still want an arm and a leg to hunt.. I picked up a lever action .44 mag, and a super redhawk .44 mag, to hunt hog with.. Love to do some hunting after the holidays..
During World War 2 many of the football league’s players were called to serve their country. In order to have enough players, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Eagles combined to play as the Steagles!
When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside-down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over
spam means Single Post Across Many. it originated from the “aol mania” where there were so many of them that frequently asks how to use the “messenger” and “posting”. instead of just sending the message to one person, the message was broadcasted and everyone receives the message [which is really worthless for the recepient].
The Internet protocol suite is the set of communications protocols used for the Internet and other similar networks. It is commonly known as TCP/IP from its most important protocols: Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and Internet Protocol (IP), which were the first networking protocols defined in this standard.
The Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), was the world's first operational packet switching network and the core network of a set that came to compose the global Internet. The network was funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) of the United States Department of Defense for use by its projects at universities and research laboratories in the US. The packet switching of the ARPANET was based on designs by Lawrence Roberts of the Lincoln Laboratory.[1]
The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for Canada, many Caribbean and North Atlantic islands, and the United States. ARIN manages the distribution of Internet number resources, including IPv4 and IPv6 address space and AS numbers.
The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) is the entity that oversees global IP address allocation, autonomous system number allocation, root zone management in the Domain Name System (DNS), media types, and other Internet Protocol-related symbols and numbers. IANA is a department operated by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, also known as ICANN. [1]
The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is the protocol backing the core routing decisions on the Internet. It maintains a table of IP networks or 'prefixes' which designate network reachability among autonomous systems (AS). It is described as a path vector protocol. BGP does not use traditional Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) metrics, but makes routing decisions based on path, network policies and/or rulesets. For this reason, it is more appropriately termed a reachability protocol rather than routing protocol.
And if you're actually reading this stuff you might want to know about IPv6;
Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is a version of the Internet Protocol (IP). It is designed to succeed the Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4). The Internet operates by transferring data between hosts in small packets that are independently routed across networks as specified by an international communications protocol known as the Internet Protocol.
Most modern day computers support IPv6 however many networks will run dual stack for some time until IPv6 becomes integrated fully into all applications and appliances that manage network connectivity and content.

OSPF is perhaps the most widely-used interior gateway protocol (IGP) in large enterprise networks. IS-IS, another link-state routing protocol, is more common in large service provider networks. The most widely-used exterior gateway protocol is the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), the principal routing protocol between autonomous systems on the Internet.
