Sold the bike today....Kind of miss it already...

 

Found a boat I like...gonna make an offer after a water test on Wed...

 

Nothing fancy...2003 Bayliner 205...5.0 V8 220hp 20ft open bow...should be nice for the whole family..

 

I'll post pics if the deal goes through...

 

I finally bought new truck after my little 02 Dakota finally wore me out. There was nothing really wrong with the old truck it's just that the 5.9L 360 was a SERIOUS gas hog. I don't think the new truck will get that much better but at least I'll enjoy the crappy mileage with NAV/DVD and all the rest of the bells and whistles.

 

Nice looking truck..don't worry, gas will come back down soon..no big deal..

 

I'm getting about 16 mpg around town and near 20 mpg on the highway with it. It's already better than my Dakota was!

I see oil speculators are now betting on the overflowing Mississippi river damaging gasoline production at the refineries......
Geez, hurricane season isn't even in full swing yet.

 

I love my Tundra, though I'd love to have a newer model truck, I like the fact that I don't owe anything on it..

I'm getting just over 13mpg in my truck right now.... :-( at $4.20 a gallon it's not so fun. Have to use high octane cause of the supercharger

 

I use 93 cause I get better mileage out of it.. seems to burn better...

 

Oh, and I have found a boat that I like a lot...We'll see if they accept my offer...LOL

 

Not gonna be a crazy offer...They have it priced right, or at least very close to right..

 

It's a 2003 Bayliner 205.. 20ft 5.0 220hp... Super clean.. they wanted $14995, after talking with them for a couple hours on Sat they are now at $11,700 which is under book on that one...I really want it at $11,000 flat...Doing a water test at Lake Austin on Wed with the sale guy...We shall see....

Excellent! I just stroked a check... Will be picking it up on Friday if I have a place to store it by then. Looking at keeping it in dry stack at the lake.

 

Guess that means the bike becomes a super-deal next week. Congrats on the new toy! I signed the PSA on the nursery yesterday. Maybe we can tie up next Spring.

Boat is preforming up to expectations... took it out last Wed, and today...It was windy as hell.. winds up to 29 knots... choppy as hell...but it was great being on the Lake..

 

Gotta watch those Bayliner hulls, they have a tendency to crack! You'll see some spider webbing down near the transom that begins to work it's way forward. Had a friend that went through a couple of those.

 

Lifetime warranty on there hulls.. I ain't worried.. I don't drive it like I stole it..LOL
