Damn Dude! right before Erik got back there was a sweet lite weight John Deere rig on CL here. Backhoe, shredder, loader, all for $3800. I killed me not to scoop it. It was perfect for a small acreage. O well, there will be more to come. I will watch for you. Weather is getting better. I have not forgot my way to the hanger. Glad you're busy. Keeps your *** out of trouble.

That would have been perfect. I have been checking Craigslist myself. And yes, I have been too busy to be in any more trouble, hahaha.

Thanks, got all the papers signed this morning. Great idea for that rifle range, my easement to my property is 30' wide x 1126' long and straight as a arrow!

I love her Gun views, me and the wife were talking about her a few days ago. She has our votes!
Taken from another forum that i frequent:

Debra Medina believes freedom comes down to two essential elements: Private property ownership and gun ownership.
“Get rid of private property taxes in Texas.”
Medina used the analogy of a mule to describe the economy, with income tax and property tax as heavy burdens weighing the mule down, whereas a sales tax spreads the weight evenly over the back of the mule.
In a flyer, she was against SB1440, and against Perry’s mandatory vaccinations of Gardasil for girls.
She wants to get rid of gun registration in Texas, she said.
Her message regarding gun ownership was straightforward, she said.
“Buy a gun, learn how to use it, carry it with you … then we’re safer,” she said.
Citing the U.S. Constitution as the best blueprint drawn for a free and prosperous society, she cited Article 1.8 and Thomas Jefferson’s call for states to exercise nullification and interposition for Texas to exercise its rights as a sovereign state and turn away at the Texas border federal efforts to govern here.
“The EPA has no authority in Texas and we will not enforce EPA standards … we will say who can drive (here),” she said.
Texas sheriffs need to be taught they can tell OSHA, EPA and other federal agencies “to go pick on somebody in another state,” she said.
On immigration, Medina said immigration is important to the U.S. “The wealth of a nation is her people … everyone here is probably the descendent of immigrants,” she said.
That said, the border is mostly private property, and Texas needs to close the border to illegal immigrants, she said.
“We need to deploy the Texas military force to support the local sheriffs,” she said.
“When I take office in 2011, I’m calling the State Guard back to duty,” Medina said of the volunteer militia that currently supports National Guard efforts in times of emergency.

Medina said one of her main objectives is eliminating the state's property tax and instead, establish a broader sales tax, which would increase citizens' personal incomes and create thousands of jobs. There have been years of private property ownership abuse and eminent domain abuse - evident through the number of illegal immigrants crossing over the border, and she said she has plans to change that.
"Get rid of property tax in Texas, limit eminent domain to its intended public use only and we'll see prosperity returning in ways many of us haven't imagined for years," she said.
She proposed expanding the sales tax, which was the "least burdensome," and tax more items but keep the rate relatively low to continue funding government services.

Medina's message: that she is the sole straight-talking, steadfast conservative.
Medina's support is probably coming from Perry's highly cultivated conservative pockets – gun-rights, state-sovereignty, Tea Party loyalists – and from Hutchison's target of voters looking for a change and fatigued by Perry's long tenure, Shaw said.
Medina's platform reflects an ideological purity, though not necessarily what is politically possible.
Her ideas would be to roll back federal laws through court challenges so Texas would repeal congressional mandates and allow Texas to make its own rules on gun ownership, environmental safety, energy policy and trade treaties. She has flirted with secessionist talk.
She shares Libertarian ideas on decriminalizing drugs. She would do away with property taxes and instead precipitously raise and expand sales taxes.

As mentioned before, her political views mirror those of Ron Paul, with staunch libertarian positions on taxes, health care, border security, gun control and a very firm position against abortion and end-of-life decision making authority.
She promises to end the revised franchise tax, which she calls the business margins tax.
On spending, she promotes eliminating some state agencies as a way to lower state spending overall.
Apparently, she views Governor Perry’s administration and the Texas Legislature as not thrift enough in spending.
The central theme of her campaign rhetoric is reform and more specifically reform of the party. Here are some new rules (taken from her website) for the Republican Party.
The Republican Party of Texas should adopt:
** A rule that adds to the content of the “Application for Place on the Primary Ballot” the requirement that the candidate signs the following pledges:
* “I solemnly swear or affirm on my honor to support or do no harm to Pro-Life Legislation and oppose intrusions of the Federal Government upon the authority of the citizens of Texas to determine the legal limits of the State with regards to Life.”
* “I solemnly swear or affirm on my honor to support the adoption of zero-based budgeting for all items included in the State of Texas’ bi-annual budget, limit government spending, and stop encumbering future generations with debt.”
* “I solemnly swear or affirm on my honor to support or do no harm to private property rights in Texas by working to eliminate property taxes and strengthening protections against eminent domain seizures.”
* “I solemnly swear or affirm on my honor to support or do no harm to Texas’ State Sovereignty, reserved under the 10th Amendment, with the understanding that Texas will retain its sovereignty, freedom and independence and every power, jurisdiction and right which is not expressly delegated to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, and oppose mandates beyond the scope of federal authority.”
If you like zero-based budgeting, very strict interpretation and protection of state sovereignty, term limits eligibility requirements in the party apparatus, the elimination of property taxes and the revised franchise or business margins tax, strong property and parental rights, and oppose debt for future generations, federal mandates and RINOs, Debra Medina is your candidate.

A very gentle Texas lady was driving across a high bridge in Texas one day.
As she neared the top of the bridge, she noticed a young man fixin' (means 'getting ready to' in Texas ) to jump.
She stopped her car, rolled down the window and said, "Please don't jump, think of your dear mother and father."
He replied, "I don't have a Mom and Dad; I'm going to jump."
She said, "Well, think of your wife and children.."
He replied, "I'm not married and I don't have any kids.."
She said, "Well, Remember the Alamo."
He replied, ''What's the Alamo ?"'
She replied, ''Well bless your heart.
You just go ahead and jump, you dumb *** Yankee!"
