I would have to avoid any political and religious conversations all together, and i would be okay.
Lived my whole 43 years without ever taking any illegal drugs, so i dont plan to start, but i do get a kick out of watching those who do do stupid ****!!! Plus my random drug testing here at work would frown on such activity.

personally, (For the most part) I dont have an issue with "illegal" drugs. I mean, Alchohol was illegal once upon a time, right? Yes, I know there's a large debate on this topic.. I was just voicing my opinion. No flames pls..

I didn't know they were still making hippies. I figured the good hippies (do your own thing , don't hurt anybody else) grew up to become libertarian conservatives and the bad (save the planet) hippies became Democrats!

Damn weather man... got me yesterday.. No rain forcast .. 0%.. then about 4 pm it started getting dark.. real dark. I didnt see til 15 to 5. OH CRAP!.. I ditch the office and try to make it home.. 6 miles remember? haha... I got 1. It rained so hard I couldnt see.. backroad so no where to pull off.. that 5 miles usaully goes fast.. not in this rain.. it took me at least 20 minutes this time. I was going thru rivers and puddles 6-8 inches deep. Got home.. garage door opener wouldnt work.. wtf? it was full of water, too (in my pocket). I was soaked to the skin every where.. helmet, shirt (thru jacket), even pants (usually theres a spot or two that dont get water when riding in rain).. it was blowing SO hard that when I stopped at a red light and flipped the visor up to see the light, the rain hitting my face was stinging ... Leather Boots and Leather gloves still damp this morning.. leather jacket dry.. bike is FILTHY! with road grime.
But like my uncle always told me.. "put enough miles on a motorcycle.. and you're bound to get caught in the rain... " Guess it's time to pack my rainsuit back into the bike.

I was talking about Brandon! I am still in my brace and i go see the doc on monday 10/05. I hope he takes it off then. And yes, i plan to be back on the bike by Turkey Day!

haha.. um FYI KD, any time you see alot of naked women and a huge bonfire (Burning man) there's alot of drugs and drinking going on. I'm sure you could go and have a great time, if you can get along with people that "smoke". I mean, all the "hippies" I've known are not into "be like me or I wont talk to you". That's more of a "conservative" viewpoint. I personally have friends of all sorts.. very conservative "drugs are evil" friends.. and "do whatcha like" friends.

Hey Cleve, As i said before, i get along fine with everyone and dont really care what they do. I dont have a problem with people doing drugs or drinking alchohol, as i would probably be consuming endless amounts of alchohol myself. I just dont need to be breathing in alot of pot and come back to work and get drug tested! I am finally into the six figures at work and dont want to throw that away if ya know what i mean!
Hell, i love to have a good time... Guess i could just stay upwind from the pot smokers.

I guess in a zero-tolerance environment that could happen but I think cops are smarter than that. Most companies are too. If you make yourself a target they can claim your sample did not meet their standards and boot you anyway. You're ten light-years from a legal resolution.
If you're a valued player on the team and you can get **** done the company can excercise a great deal of discretion as to how that event is handled. Fail two in a row - well - you know. You aint just hangin out!

I have no idea if you can test positive for pot by breathing second hand smoke, but i dont want to be the one that finds out... I guess i could just distance myself from those that do by a few yards!

The contact high thing is BS, not saying you can't get high, just that it won't get picked up by a test. The amount of THC left in you system after a contact high is so little that it will be gone in less than 48 hours.
Drugs in blood for dummies:
1. If you are well hydrated THC is out of your system in under 4 days
2. Cocaine is 2 days or less
3. If you are not a "user" you can cut all these times in at least half
4. 6 hours notice and enough water will cover up ANYTHING in your system
5. There is NOTHING you can buy that will mask drugs, they just make you **** more

I am probably one of the most ignorant person yall have ever met when it comes to drugs and pot as i have never tried any of it. Sounds like i'm good to go if i decide i want to attend.
Was thinking about flying out in my cherokee, but not sure i could pack enough beer and camping supplies to last a week. I have a year to plan...
