You guys are the only ones that really have any interest in this so I am just putting it here..
Update on my girl (CCTs went if you didnt know):
Front CCT was the one that failed, replaced both with APEs. Was impatient, and didnt have tools to check timing, thought to myself "what could it hurt?" .. bumped the starter.. rr-clunk.. hard parts hitting... Took it to local shop. I bent the REAR cyl valves.. WTF? It slipped timing when I took out the rear CCT to replace it. Didnt know it. All because I tried to do it myself, and was impatient... lesson learned.
Estimate is $800-1200.. depending whether valves are needed, or Valves and piston.... Time estimate is down for 2 weeks more. One week for parts, day for labor...

Thanks, G.. but like I said it was my fault, my DAM (dumb *** mistake).. so I'll take my lumps.
haha.. I considered (briefly) buying your's or Drew's, putting my plastic on it, and parting the rest of them both out to recoup some money.. but it just seemed like too much hassle.

aww. too bad.. I thought you were sharing a new girl with us, LAN.. WHOA!.. I think I need to see some ID on that last one. If it's the same girl, she looked older in the first one.. the second could get us on Dateline...
