He did and I did and then late this afternoon the kid got hit by car while on the Interceptor. He's OK - bike is not. No more arguments in my house about ATGATT.
"Dad, it was so fast!" Yeah, and you were in a parking lot. When I did the Superhawk in Feb of o7 it was a Tbone at 45mph on a five-lane county road.
We're blessed to still have him but growing him up has been a challenge.
One of his former riding buds is in a walker, another paralyzed. Today brought the headlines home.
Listen up youngun's your time on the tar is waiting. Wear your gear!

Thanks for everyone's concern. He's pretty much normal today. Tomorrow is another tale. I know the delayed reaction thing. He slept deeply last night which was prob the best thing for him. He is yet to ride again and I will prob go with him for the first couple times.
He washed his truck in the parking lot this afternoon after work. I hauled the kid around the nursery in a Radio Flyer while he and wifey washed his truck. All was good when he left. He was on his way over to see his Mother after he left here so ?? who knows.
I got the estimate back from the wrenches and I may choose to total the bike. Incomplete parts list and we're already at $2200 - appraisal is $4160. I guess there's more than one way to sell a bike. This was not my preferred method but you gotta ride the waves.

Superbling says to never use Super Purple staight strength on raw Aluminum surfaces. I have used it diluted and it cuts the **** out of oil on your headers after an oil change, almost over kill for brake dust.
