Post Whoring Newbie Thread
Well i need to get out and ride myself, have not rode in the last week and a half due to weather. I'm ready to goooooooooo!
On Rye, with mayo. And that's for lunch.
Bring a lasso? Great, after lunch we can tie Randy spread-eagle to his motorcycle and drag him to the Saltlick for dinner.
Road rash and Tabasco makes for such great dinnertime entertainment.
Oh ****! Next weekend is Mother's Day. Guess we still have to be nice for a few more days.
Sunday is good for me. Weather permitting and maybe damn it if not. LMK

So now i am just thinking i can buy her a new pair of "flip-flop's" and call it good!
Connie has been wanting a Sailboat for quite awhile. Sooo, i was thinking i could get her one for mothers day. Took her out to the lake at lunch time today and looked at a 24 footer with a nice cabin complete with stove, fridge, toilet, etc... She didn't act all that impressed and thought we should get a nicer one.

In another life I raced sailboats with Olympic level teams. With fixed keal boats, when you get above 16' it's hard to find deep enough water in Texas without cruising the bays or going close-in off shore. I was a team member on a 21' Pearson and a 23' Pearson and both drafted 6 feet.
Then there were the sleds. The A Scows and the C Scows and it was the doctors kids against the Pillsbury's and we went at it every weekend. 30 to 45 mph in a 30 to 40 foot boat was exciting. The best sailing on Central Texas lakes is after 9pm. At Sunset all you do is motor around. You sure Connie won't be better with a party barge or pontoon?
Nope, it's the right knee. It has given me some problems over the past year. It swelled up about 3 weeks ago and has been bad ever since. Been taking 12 pills a day to keep the swelling down and the pain away. Doc says it ain't going to get better without surgery!
OK that;s good. I thought it was the knee that you crashed on recently. Let me know if we're still going out. I will be on at 5a to look at the weather. It had be better and thicker than bacon or I riding!!!You get your chain?
I ordered it from one of the advertiser's from this site and because they are located out of Austin. So far they have been very nice and easy to deal with.
Hey Doug,
Looks like Randy backed out again. If he really does ride a bike, he must be a ghost or something because i still haven't seen him on one. I guess i am going to have to refer to him as Casper from now on!
He needs to take that photo-chopped pic of whoever that is on a bike in his signature off.
