The crying has begun...

 

flight crew always show up 1 hour prior to departure...

 

I have been called out to the aircraft 3 times in the last 20 minutes.

 

1. Instrument light inop, but was working when i got into the cockpit. returned to office...

 

2. Called back out to complain that the mechanics are hard to hear over the engine noise during engine starts (as we have to be on a headset clearing them for eng starts) I told him i would scream louder into the headset when its time. returned to office...

 

3. Captain said he was out of trashbags for the cockpit. returned to office, got a couple trash bags, went back to aircraft. returned to office to wait on the next crisis!

 

He's scheduled out in 30 minutes, maybe, just maybe he can handle it from here...

 

OK, where has everyone gone?

It's like the condors that circle above the hills. We go up every morning just to look around.

 

Well every now and then you should swoop down and make your presence known!

 

We need to get together for another ride soon.

 

I have a date with the wife at the lake tomorrow, i will see how next weekend looks.

 

Besides, I've been paddling just as fast as I can.

I did have the op to do a triple play on the Superhawk last week but the parts are yet to be installed. Maybe this week.

I sold the zx on Friday. Local guy got a good deal on a great bike. I did OK on the parts list and the tires. I'm confident that I turned a strong and safe bike back into the mix.

Well, I think we decided to go with the 96' Volvo 850 Turbo that we found on Craigslist..

 

The kiddo is going to be excited I think

 

He was the one that found it online, so I know he wants it

Good for you on the sale. I have not forgotton about those VFR bars. If we are unable to get together next weekend, I will mail ya the money for them.

 

Lunch Monday is a possibility. I need a "personal" day. Women in every bailed out corporation in America have those.

We're looking at 30% chance but I love FM12 up through Wimberley to Dripping Springs. Randy wants to go to the Salt Lick - if we get a short window we could do that too. That's just NE of Wimberly <10 miles. Prob about the same for us from Dripping.

 

I have a customer dropping off a Mooney sometime on monday, if it works out (time wise) i will try and meet up with yall.

 

Jerry has a nice looking cruiser for sale next door. It's a good looking bike - got leather bags and other treats but I don't know **** about cruisers. I'll take a couple pix if you're interested. Does this mean that I get the KLR?

I am way, way, way overdue for a personal day. My wife has been on the lake for the last few days enjoying her "personal days"

 

Even swap for the cruiser, that is if it's worth at least $4500...LOL

I have to go to Kyle again on Mon morning, meeting the guy at the courthouse to do the title work on that car...so it's possible I would be back in time to jump on the bike and head over that way...dunno
