IMO...
The stimulus package should give every American household 100,000 dollars.
Now with this 100k this household would be required to pay off ALL of their debt with housing being the exception.
What this is going to do for the economy:
1. Creditors will be paid so they'll start lending again.
2. Credit scores are going to skyrocket.
3. People are going to open new lines of credit, i.e. cars, houses, therefore bailing out the Auto Industry and the Housing Market.
4. PEOPLE WILL SAVE MONEY, no need to keep giving corporations and banks billions upon billions of dollars when they could be giving the same if not a little less to the American people and accomplish the same goals.
Sounds like a good idea to me. Hell you could even cut the 100k into 50k. 12 bucks a week?

ok.. I'll take $100k.. I'd have ALL my bills including the house paid off.
Drawback would be I wouldnt get out of bed anymore... no need to.
Better yet, just give back the money we've paid. IMO, some people arent worth $100k, some are worth more (economically speaking). Give back all that we've paid in for our whole lives.

Problem with giving the American people anything is, they are the American people, they wouldn't know what to do with it...And most like you said, would not get out of bed for a few months thinking there RICH...I mean really, a 100K is not what it used to be..

Well, What I meant was.. I live VERY inexpensivley. If I werent in debt I could live on a very meager amount of money per month. Nothing NEAR what I need right now.. and I would spent alot of time just Fing off..

sigpro40 is my carry. also have a 380. the polymers respond best to occasional use. you can strap the colts to your tires. sig is front line and very much into the lightweight quick response weapon. Their new version of the sigpro is only le/mil. $675? not bad! High velocity 17g bullets are the killers of the future.
