That's going to be one sweet ride when you finish it. You have every reason to be proud of your work.
The only thing better than a Comanche is a Twin Comanche! Our little Mooney has a sweet spot in my heart but it was a Comanche wannabe.
Then there's the dirt bike of airplanes - the Otter and Twin Otter. Nothing out there like radials.
We had a Cessna 190 at our FBO and a C-47 that would stop in sometimes. Gawd, talk about the barking duck - empty the 47 would be airborn in about 1100 feet.

I pull into the station this afternoon to buy a couple beers and this guy across the parking lot, big custom chopper - is on the phone and got a problem. The seat is off the bike and he's waving his arms around while on the phone. I rent my suds and throw them in the truck. I walk over to the guy and he thinks his computer is toast but nobody wants to talk to him and even less in helping him. Nice Big Dog but I could tell it's been outside for a while. I gave him Jerry's number and told him we were just down the street. It took about a hour but he called and Jerry had the bike in our parking lot in about a half hour. I would only hope that would be there for all riders - everytime we ride.

I once wondered how bad things had gotten for the Pilgrims. For them to pack up EVERYTHING, leave their country, go to a land that they knew nothing about.. hell they didnt even know if they would have food to live on... no jobs were there to look for. I mean these days, if one were to go to another country.. Me for instance... they have a skill to trade, and could probably find a job. Not the Pilgrims, they just needed a gun. They had *****.
That being said, I am VERY concerned with the direction this country is taking. I do not like it, and there arent enough people like me to change it. Let's face it, WE (the Republican thinkers) are the minority, now. Got too complacent in our status, and lost it. We let other people influence our children too much (liberal teachers), and as a result, we have a generation of bleeding hearts. We need to get back to taking care of ourselves. Not selfish-ness, just US first. Then, we give what we can to others.. AFTER ours are taken care of.
That being said, I am VERY concerned with the direction this country is taking. I do not like it, and there arent enough people like me to change it. Let's face it, WE (the Republican thinkers) are the minority, now. Got too complacent in our status, and lost it.
