anybody want to shack up?

 

Eh, yeah. Been in and out a bit. Work sucks and I spend a lot of time there. Been working back shift for the last couple weeks so I generally sleep during the day.

Trying to keep my sanity with this long-*** winter here in NY. Getting another 4-5 inches of white **** today/tonight. It's been a few weeks since we last had snow but it never got over about 40ish.

Just got back from an Ortega Highway run with my wife.

Being retired is great!

 

Got some bad news

 

The other day.....

 

No raises for any salary individuals

 

within our corporation

 

I thought,,,Well that sucks.....At least I have a job

 

It pays the bills and it's all good..

 

With my new promotion last year

 

I recieved a healthy raise then anyway.

 

Only bad part is that I have to tell all my managers that they are not recieving a raise and somehow make them feel good about it.

 

Freakin economy sucks

 

Oh yea and I was one of 3 individuals in the plant that is enrolled into a bonus program last year with the promation....

 

Well, I just new that if I was not getting a raise then there would be no bonuses.....Right????

 

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

 

Boss came into my office today

 

He said that he had some important news as he shuts the door....

 

I thought "Oh NO...."

 

He handed me a paper that showed my bonus amount on it and said that I did a great job last year....

 

Whew........

 

Weird how this stuff works......

 

I kinda feel bad about it but I sure ain't given it back...
