Post Whoring Newbie Thread
I get the feeling we're going to be following you around for a few months while your nose gets its fill of Smokehouses in Central Texas. It not just for breakfast anymore
Maybe we should go to him. He's all busted up and I got a clutch lever for him. Make about a hundred mile day for us - all back roads. The Superhawk is in que for the next ride. I did some work on her last Sunday and did a short shake down - all is good. We could stop at the Saltlick on the way down. We go right by.

I'll have a pound of ribs, and a quarter pound of Sausage!! Meat First!
No doubt about it. Our forefathers fucked up. Instead of fighting the Mexicans they should have joined them. It would have formed the largest country in the Western Hemisphere. Now the social engineers would have us form a Canada to Argentina "economy" like the Euro. Problem is I don't think Hugo wants any part of it - neither do the cartels. As much as I hate to say it, I think the next generation of "turf wars" will be fought on our ground.

I was on my way out to the new house to see how they were coming along. They got the tension cables in and most if not all the plumbing - could pour yet this week.
I was following a guy that had a bumper sticker on his back window (hatchback). Ole-bammer's picture on the left and the following text, "You're going to be very disappointed!"
Funny but not really - I already am!

I could give y'all a long list of why I think G.W. Bush squandered the greatest opportunity to return America to Constitutional Governance in generations. I'll just leave you with this;
Bush supported the Clinton- Feinstein-Sarah Brady- Chuck Schumer- Barney *** ban on "assault weapons" and magazines over 10 rounds from word go. In '04 he pressured the then GOP controlled Congress, over and over and over again to reauthorize that ban until Tom Delay told him to go **** Himself. G.W. Bush was a **** pants liberal piece of **** with an "R" after his name. If you don't realize this, you need to read up on it.

OK, why not?
"Family values don't stop at the Rio Grande". If you wanted to hear some New age stoned bullshit like that a generation and a half ago, you'd have to go to People's Park and interview the Hippie with the Bong and the Bongo drums!

I grant you W's social programs were not always on target or even productive. He is the son of a soldier when we needed one. He didn't get elected on those merits but he responded in just kind.
By contrast Obama is spending generations of taxpayers money on their social vision of America. I wish him the best and I hope he really is as smart as he thinks he is. So far I'm not too impressed.
It's not been one little gaffe. It's been a snowball running downhill.
