It has been an interesting year for me... Still no "real" job, split up with the wife, blah, blah, blah..... but on the good side, a friend of mine just gave me a RC51 front end, so I have that project to work on and it's a nice sunny and warm day so it's time for a ride, which just shows life ain't all bad....lol

So what happened to everyone else......kinda slow in this thread the last few days I've been back.

Thanks Doug for the offer. I had bought a set of bars from budman a week or so ago that i was going to experiment with (add lead to try and reduce the vibes to my hands). The package arrived yesturday afternoon so I have a bar, yea. But i might take you up on that clutch lever.

If I install the 954 MC that has been sitting on the shelf for a year I will have a brake lever to match the clutch lever for you then. If you don't want to spend the coin that's cool - I don't have that much in it. You'll be a little mismatched for a while but I was too. TxSuperChicken says I absolutely have to do something about my front brakes. He thinks I have a bubble in the upper joint where the lines come off the MC. If I'm going in there, I will install the new master cylinder then chase the bubble.

The Obama stimulus bill is frightening because as it gets rushed to passage, more and more items buried deep within are being discovered. Items like the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology. They're going to monitor the treatments and make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost-effective. Yup---they used 'government' and 'cost-effective' in the same sentence.
