Trying to miss the truck, I wiped out at about 50 mph. The bike slid only a few feet on the street before sliding off into the grass for the next 60 feet or so.

Only a few items will need to be replaced like the left handlebar, cluch lever and gear shifter. The bike has alot more scratches than the pics show.

I had on all my riding gear except my pants (gained weight, don't fit) and wouldn't you know that the only scratch I got was from the lack of good pants .

I wear these under my jeans. Crash tested by me and Capt Chaos. He went down like you and I impacted an Izuzu Trooper. Highly recommended. No **** tomorrow is off! Rest up!

I got a bar (I gotta see which one - the other one got donated to another crash victim) and a stock clutch lever. Can't help you on the shifter.
