WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN? That's rediculous. If you're gonna make **** up, do it right.. Women should NEVER speak unless spoken to and they should not look you in the eye, as that is a sign of disrespect.. Women should avail themselves ONLY to serve men.. their pleasures and needs. And Black people should be shackled so as not to be able to raise their heads, unless working in the fields. They should also be selectivly bread, for more strength and less intelligence.

I mean if we're going to be silly.. let's do it right. Dont just half *** it.

That in mind. the above should and will never happen. People are entitled to their freedoms & opinions.. even the stupid ones. What we need to do is EDUCATE... hire more CONSERVATIVE TEACHERS. I mean if we continue to let the "liberals" educate our kids, where do you think their opinions will sway?

The problem is: "Those who can't do, teach." I mean if you can do something viable and profit from it, that's what people do. Teaching isnt profitable.

When you buy at a gun show.. are the guns "traceable"? ie: registered? need gun permit? or is it just individuals trading type thing.. I went to one years back, but the one gun I thought about buying was from a dealer, and he asked for a permit. I didnt think to get any before the show so I thought i just wasted my time in going, and left.

In this stupid state, you must have a permit from the Sheriff's office, cost I think $5 and you have to have one for each purchase...you can get up to 3 at a time if memory serves..
If you have a concealed carry permit, as I do, then this is used as they have already done the back ground checks etc...And I can buy as many items as I can afford..Now that's not to say that if I bought 50 guns that the ATF won't be at my door by that afternoon asking what the hell I am gonna do with those...None of there ******* business is what I would tell them, but that is another story!

Any gun you buy from an FFL Dealer will be registered..If you buy a gun from an individual at the show, it won't be registered to you, so that person selling is responsible to make sure that you have a permit or a CCP. When I sell a gun as an individual I take a copy of that persons (the buyer) lic...that way if the cops show up at my house because some nut case went on a killing spree, I can hand them that info and tell them I sold that gun months ago...

you don't have to have the permits to buy most long guns ie..rifles, and shotguns..etc....You will have to fill out ATF paperwork...and yes, those too will be registered...

Randy,
If you have to possess a license to make a purchase, then I suggest that you move up to WV, where such nonsense doesn not apply. I won't sell anything to an individual because I like filling out my ATF Form 4473's when I buy stuff. Besides, the ATF has a 24-hr entry card to my house since I have a C&R FFL, so WTF to have to hide. Oddly enough, I have gotten sick trade amounts for my guns when I trade them, so I guess that I've never had a reason to sell to an individual in the first place.

MU, oh geez, LOL I forgot about the C&R, as I haven't had a chance to use it yet...I got that a few months ago..

Any good sites to buy from using the C&R that you can send me?
I had a few book marked, but can't seem to find them now..

C&R license holders can be required to undergo a compliance inspection once per year.

ATF must contact you ahead of time to make an appointment. You have the option of allowing them to inspect your firearms and paperwork at your home, or at the nearest ATF office. You don't have to let them in your home, and they are only entitled to inspect C&R firearms and paperwork, not anything else you have.

RK1, I'm aware of your comments, however, I don't make a habit of reading the 'changes' booklets that they send me, so I'm never up to date with any possible changes. In reality, I bought my antiques prior to getting the license. The ATF agent out here was actually quite friendly. I found it odd that she mentioned where I need to move within this part of WV in order to get an FFL (my county is quite strange for numerous reasons).

Randy, have you gotten into Century Arms yet? They have a special on the Mosin-Nagant 91/30 sniper rifles right now.

Ah, crap, I may have sent them a copy of my lic, but I did not have a login yet, so I'll have to wait on them to send me a password before I can view pricing...

agh!.. too... much.. information...... too early.

Ok, bottom line. I WAS right. As an individual in NC, with no concealed carry (it's on my list)... I DO have to have a permit from the Sheriff's office to purchase at a gun show... ok, I feel much better now. Just knowing I was right makes me feel good.

don't feel bad, my $136K house that I owe $132K on is now worth $116K... went to a job interview (3rd stop for this particular job) and the HR rep said "we don't have a job for you right now..." and the next day they laid off 200+ people...

How did you find out that you house lost value? Did you have an appraisal done? Or are you looking at the market around you, or some website?

Man.. went for a ride yesterday. At traffic lights (coming into them slowly) my front brakes were REAL touchy! Like the lever was sticking.. maybe pistons dirty.. but damn!

Actually made me start looking into a front end swap.. or at least a brake swap..
