I would say, check out some of the companys getting into the alternative fuel, or energy sources right now...Since there is such a push for this type of thing...once someone hits gold with an idea there stock will go through the roof...
Land is always a good bet---They aren't making anymore of it, and you don't have to worry about someone else loosing it for you. Unless you don't pay your taxes, then Uncy Sam will take it...
