I figured out that if I merge post, it takes away from the persons post count

 

That would suck if some newbie came in here

 

and tried to ***** it up with us

 

and then found that there post had

 

been merged, and they lost post counts

 

or if someone tried to catch up with someone who was way out in front

 

etc...etc...

 

that would be an abuse of power

I used to go to the ones over in P'cola FL, at the Navy Base...

 

I've never dealt with it myself. I'm always on the other side, turning the junk into them that they sell. People turn in some pretty nice stuff. A lot of which is brand new.

 

you would have to make a trip, sealed bid, then they would call you if you won, then make another trip to pick the stuff up within like 3 days...

You hear stories of people buying mystery lots that turn out to be unused WWII harley davidsons or something. I dunno about that though.

 

Happens, I know a guy that knew a guy that had an uncle that saw a man that overheard a girl talking to another guy about this person that won an auction like that once...turned out to be Bob Hope crated up after a USO Tour....Big prize there!!!
