Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

Well it's time to go for a ride....

The reason Cleve said 1k was to keep me out.

 

Besides, it should be something more comical like 996...

 

But that would require Cleve to be creative.

 

Which of course, we all know couldn't happen without alcohol and or luck.

 

I'm stuck at work today.

 

Waiting on one last email now that the market is closed.

 

They're still "calculating the data" the last two times I've called them.

 

Market's been closed for an hour and a half!

 

Oh well.... at least there's the internet.

 

Heck, at this rate, I may get the 1k posts, and the full page worth.

 

I mean, it is during business hours.

 

I really don't think I have the dedication to be a true post ***** though.

 

I mean, it truly is an art form to be one.

 

Yesterday was my dog's birthday.

 

She turned 2 years old.

 

I got her this dog bone that was like 24" long.

 

She took it in the backyard and just stared at it.

 

I think she wanted to bury it, but was trying to determine the amount of effort required to do so.

 

Ultimately she just started playing catch with herself with it.

 

Grabs one end, flings it around and sends it flying. She's only hit herself in the head once or twice....

 

I tried to do it, and I hit myself in the head every time.

 

I'm kidding.

 

I don't always hit myself in the head.

 

Sometimes someone else will do it for me.

 

Don't you hate it when you think of something you really want, or need, for Christmas... and forget it?
