So after competing all season in the Amsterdam billiards club (Manhattan) 9-ball league, my team won the championship! Real high pressure matches in the finals, lots of spectators & video cameras but happy to win the 4 grand cash prize.

Plus I got to ride the hawk to all the matches this season. Tough jump from urban assault to steady pool but getting better at it.

 

Congrats! I've played multiple times a week for 35 years. Great fun.

 

If you ever make it to the Detroit area, I've got a Sunday, noon till whenever, snooker match on a nice Brunswick 6 x 12. There's also a 4-6 handed golf game going on later in the afternoon. Card tables, one pocket, 9 ball, you name it. Lots of woofing on a Saturday night.
